Beach Access: Access to world-famous Ka`anapali Beach is just steps from the house and the beach-side pool. Walk out directly on Ka`anapali Beach, a beautiful golden sand swimming beach that stretches for several miles along the shore in front of Sea Shells. The beach is nearly unparralled and is perfect for lap swimming, long walks, romantic evenings laying under the full moon or glittering stars at water's edge. Situated between Maui Ka`anapali Villas and several new interval ownership resorts, this stretch of Ka`anapali Beach is less crowded than the hotel zone. There are currently 4 homes on 6 contiguous one acre beach front lots on the coast adjacent to Sea Shells.

Pool: Sea Shells is blessed with a really fun large lagoon shaped free form swimming pool on the beach side of the property. The pool is not fenced or covered. Guests with young children who do not swim well may wish to consider bringing a pool alarm. The pool is heated to 82 degrees in cooler months.

Outdoor Spa: Yes! We have added a lovely large 4 to 6 person hot tub spa which is professionally serviced weekly. From the hot tub you can overlook the pool, the sunsets, tiki torches, and out towards the ocean.

Rates are plus General Excise Tax (GET) & Transient Accommodations Tax (TAT). GET is 4.166% and TAT is 9.25%, 10.25% on 1/1/18.

These rates are valid as of the current date. Rates are subject to change until reserved with a signed Rental Application & Agreement and payment of the initial amount due.

Infants and toddlers under two (2) years of age are not included in the total guest count. Toddlers and children age two (2) and above are included in the total guest count.

Occupancy is granted for the maximum number of guests noted above. Excess occupancy is not allowed and may also be regulated by resort and/or local County of Maui ordinance.

Just a few of the inclusive complimentary benefits provided are Personal Concierge Service, parking for the number of vehicles stated in the property highlights on-line, high speed internet, local phone calls, tropical bath treats, and personalized arrival greeting and orientation.

Security deposit plus credit card guarantee is requested for this property, plus a separate incidentals deposit for guest requested special services. The security deposit may be reduced for repeat guests on subsequent visits.

Pool Heating To 82 degrees is included during winter season.

Payment and Deposit

Deposit: $2500

Service Charge: A Reservation Service Fee will be collected with the initial payment in the amount of $125.

Initial Payment: 50% of rate and taxes

Final Payment: 60 days prior to arrival

Housekeeping

Out Cleaning: $850

Housekeeping Provided: A complimentary mid-week housekeeping service is included up to 8 hours if renting for 7 nights or longer, excepting select off-season rate periods. Personal laundry is excluded. Fresh towels are provided, bed linens are changed, trash is removed, supplies are replenished, exterior areas are touched up, and there is a light dusting and vacuum. Our villas are extremely well stocked with an abundant supply of towels, blankets and extra bed linens. There is plenty of inventory to suffice for several days. Within the villa there is a laundry room with a washer/dryer, laundry supplies, iron and board. During the Christmas and New Years holiday period, DAILY housekeeping is provided, with the exception that there is no housekeeping service on Christmas Day December 25 and on New Years Day January 1.

Extra Housekeeping Fees: Additional a la carte housekeeping service is $40 per hour per housekeeper plus 4.166% GE tax with a 4 hour minimum.. Advance notice is requested. Subject to availability.

THE BEACH IN FRONT OF SEA SHELLS IS PUBLIC. THERE IS A PUBLIC WALKING PATH THAT PASSES BETWEEN THE SANDY BEACH AND THE VEGETATION LINE OF THE SEA SHELLS PROPERTY. LANDSCAPING IS MAINTAINED AS BEST AS POSSIBLE TO PROVIDE PRIVACY FROM PERSONS WALKING ALONG THE PATH. TYPICALLY, IT IS POSSIBLE TO SEE THE OCEAN FROM INSIDE THE HOUSE, BUT IT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR THE PUBLIC TO SEE SOMEONE LOUNGING BY THE POOL THIS IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE DEPENDING ON THE STAGE OF VEGETATION GROWTH AS MAINTAINED BY THE LANDSCAPERS.

SPECIFIC RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

a) Quiet hours from 9:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., during which time the noise from the short-term rental home shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors. Sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries during non-quiet hours shall not be more excessive than would be otherwise associated with a residential area;

b) Amplified sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries of the short-term rental home is prohibited;

c) Vehicles shall be parked in the designated onsite parking area and shall not be parked on the street;

d) No parties or group gatherings other than registered guests shall occur;

e) The shoreline area is the property of the people of Hawai' i, and is open for the free use by everyone;

f) Occupancy is for 2 guests per bedroom; and

g) Rental is for one set of guests (family, group, etc.) at a time. Property is not rented at the same time to multiple sets of guests or to unaffiliated persons.
